KFS Offers Mutual Fund Consulting Services

Keil Fiduciary Strategies LLC (KFS) provides customized, hands-on consulting services to the mutual fund and affiliated businesses.  KFS seeks to serve all fiduciaries across the investment company business model such as fund sponsors, directors/trustees, legal counsel, and other service providers, taking a balanced and principled approach to critical fiduciary decisions.  Given increased regulatory scrutiny, board burden, and legal risks that are now inherent in the fund business, KFS further seeks to assist parties in weeding through the plethora of information that now exists, and must be analyzed, with the explicit goal of iron-clad due diligence records and judicious solutions.

A brief synopsis of primary KFS consulting engagements may be summarized as such:
  • Advisory contract renewal (15(c)) assessments
  • Board structure and process
  • Fee & expense benchmarking
  • Board material summary & review

Corporate Profile

KFS's business foundation is a principled, balanced, and objective approach to providing advice and guidance to investment company business participants.  Many aspects of the fund business hardly prompt clear, definitive decisions.  Yet, bringing to bear KFS business knowledge, regulatory acumen, and insight into strategy norms, clients may be afforded a clearer picture from which to make informed decisions.
